Nandrolone Decanoate is a very long lived steroid due to the Decanoate attached ester. Nandrolone itself has a very short half life, but attached ester Decanoate is delaying the release in the system after it gets administered and therefore is offering a half life of up to 15 days or so. 

Nandrolone Decanoate known as Deca Durabolin or simply Deca is coming as oil solution that is meant to be administered intramuscularly with an injection. Due to the very long half life, most people report getting stable blood levels and maximum effectiveness by injecting it once a week. Although there are people using it 2 or even 3 times weekly, that’s not necessary. 

Being a long based steroid that is used for bulking cycles while it offers mild side effects, the cycle lengths with this AAS are generally pretty long, starting with at least 10 weeks but can be used for about 16 weeks or so.

Most common doses are in the range of 400-600 mg per week while doses between 600 mg up to 800 mg per week are used mainly by professionals.
